ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS

 

Polk Community College is currently seeking part-time, temporary  EAP ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS to teach PCC courses beginning Spring 2009.  Instructors are needed for day and evening classes for the Winter Haven campus.  Qualifications and requirements are listed below:

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

·         Faculty for General Education and transfer courses require a Master’s degree with a major in field or a related sub-field, or 18 graduate semester hours in specific discipline + Master's degree. Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree and demonstrated competency in the teaching discipline required for non-transferable courses. 

·          Teaching experience is preferred

·         A criminal background check will be required prior to employment.

·         Applicants must submit the completed PCC Employment Application, Adjunct Faculty Qualifications Addendum, and unofficial copies of academic transcriptsAll forms can be found on the PCC website at www.polk.edu/hr.  Submissions that do not include all required information will not be considered.  Positions will remain open until filled.
