HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
COMMITTEE
Our mission is to increase awareness of the diversity and richness of the Hispanic culture within the community we serve and celebrate the contributions of the Hispanic culture to the American society.
HHM Goals:
- Provide our community with opportunities to participate in social activities and events promoting the Hispanic culture by offering at least two college-wide cultural awareness activities for the students, faculty, staff and community leaders.
- Expand and create collaborative and supportive partnerships within the college, our community, organizations, and businesses by recruiting new partnerships, scholarships and mentoring.
- Offer the students, faculty and staff opportunities to engage in educational experiences supportive of cultural diversity by encouraging student participation and incorporating activities into their courses.
