Welcome to the Student Government Association Website!
The purpose of Student Government is to provide students with an active voice in the administration and legislation of matters concerning the student body, to assist with the administration of the Student Activities and Student Services fees, to assist with the planning and implementation of those activities which either complement the curriculum of the institution or benefit the student body, and to promote national and multicultural understanding at the student level.
The Student Government Association is the governing organization and representative of the student body, and its actions supersede those of all other student organizations. The Student Government Association shall facilitate responsible communication and direction among students, faculty, staff, administrators, and other officials through total and meaningful student participation. The SGA members also keep students informed on state, national, and global issues and serve as representatives for PSC in the following associations:
- Florida Junior/Community Colleges Student Government Association (FJCCSGA)
- American Student Government Association (ASGA)
- Association of College Unions International (ACUI)
